Christchurch Mayor Opens the Conference
Lianne Dalziel, mayor of Christchurch, will open the TENZ/ICTE 2017 Conference. Prior to her position as mayor, Lianne was a member of the New Zealand Parliament for 23 years, serving as Minister of Immigration, Commerce, Minister of Food Safety and Associate Minister of Justice in the Fifth Labour Government.
TENZ/ICTE 2017 Conference
This conference combines the national biannual Technology Education New Zealand (TENZ) conference with the 12th biannual International Conference on Technology Education (ICTE) conference. The hope is that the outcome will be a dynamic cross-cultural mix of perspectives about a range of elements of Technology Education.
Coincidentally, in 2017, both of these organizations will be celebrating 20 years of existence, so there will be some celebrating to do.
